Jasmine Pearl Schut is a Vancouver-based artist who draws inspiration from the intricate beauty of the natural world. She participates in many events throughout Vancouver, Canada, sharing her work.
Through her acrylic paintings, she explores the dreamlike quality of the relationship between humans and nature, with a particular focus on enigmatic forms such as sea crea-tures, tree roots, and human figures. Using thin layers of acrylic paint, Jasmine aims to capture the feeling of transformation that characterizes the ever-evolving cycle of life.
Her work is an exploration of connection and interdependence between all living things, reminding us of our place within the larger ecosystem. Through vibrant and bold use of color, Jasmine expresses the emotions and experiences that shape her life through symbolism in water worlds.
